I've been using Win2PDF for a while now and I'm really impressed with how easy it is to use. It's really intuitive and the options for adjusting the printing preferences are really helpful. It's also great that you can print to PDF, XPS, TIFF, or SVG. I highly recommend Win2PDF for anyone looking for a reliable and easy to use PDF converter.

Win2PDF lets you create PDF documents from any application that supports printing. It installs as a virtual printer that can be accessed through the Print dialog of any software. Fortunately, just as with a physical printer, you can set your preferences, including page size and orientation. Moreover, it allows you to send the resulting PDF via email. Consequently, if you already know how to print a document, you will have no difficulties to use Win2PDF right after installing it.

Besides from the Print dialog, Win2PDF can be used from its desktop shortcut, which works pretty much the same. It prompts you to pick a source document and set your output preferences. Luckily, it is possible to merge various documents as well. In addition, you can tell the program to create a new document from current clipboard contents. It is also good that the tool supports various output formats, including not only PDF but XPS, TIFF and SVG.

There are various editions of this product with significant differences in terms of features and prices. Thus, the standard edition supports basic PDF creation at a relatively cost-effective price. Win2PDF Pro, in turn, lets you set document properties as title, author, subject and keywords. Likewise, it permits using security options and overlaying a watermark. Finally, Win2PDF Terminal Server Editions support printing from Microsoft or Citrix Terminal Servers.

In general, Win2PDF can help you convert any type of printable content into PDF. However, it does not let you edit documents and perform such operations as extracting and rearranging their pages. Finally, you should know that there are some free alternatives out there, so you had better check if any of them works for you. Even Microsoft Office products allow saving as PDF without the need of additional software.
