Win2PDF allows you to convert any printable document or file into PDF and other formats. As many other similar tools, Win2PDF installs a virtual printer on your Windows system. Then, you only need to open any kind of documents and print it using "Win2PDF" as a printer to get a PDF file from it. The program can be used in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows systems from XP onwards.
Once you open your document and print it with the Win2PDF printer, a "file save" dialog opens and allows you to select the output file name and location, and a subsequent action, like "View file", "Print file", or "Send file". Although Win2PDF was created to convert any printable file into PDF format, you can also select other output formats, such as PDF/A, XPS, TIFF, and SVG. You can also click on the "PDF Options" button to open another dialog and configure the output document's description, security, scaling, and watermark settings. However, the only parameter you can really tweak is the scaling percentage. All the other parameters are disabled, as they will only work in the Pro edition of the program (which has a cost of $69).
As with any other printer installed on your system, you can also configure Win2PDF’s printing preferences. In the basic view of this dialog, you can simply select the output document orientation (portrait or landscape). However, if you select the advanced view, you can also set the document's paper size and resolution, the interleaving mode, and the JPEG compression level. more
